The IRM is making up a separate informational sign for the 24,000 gallon fuel tender attached to our UP gas turbine locomotive and I need to fill in a couple of blanks.
UtahRails has been a big help with early history. They I.D.ed the original car # as UP 907853
“Insulated, classified as 24-C-GTE, and was rebuilt from 20-C tenders from retired FEF-1 class 800-series 4-8-4 Northerns”
Two things we still need for our sign.

The original builder, ALCO? UP?

Weight? I did some subtraction of 200,000 lbs water from Loco and tender information and came up with an empty weight of 365,150 lbs.

Any help appreciated.

Well wouldn't you need to acknowledge both Alco as original builder and UP for the conversion (unless it was contracted out)?

There was some discussion awhile back (which I cannot find now) upon the completion of the most recent conversion of an oil tender into a water-only canteen. (Removing the heaters, and stripping the insulation and sheet metal jacket, etc.) I know there was a rumor that they were built by cutting two FEF-1 tenders in half and welding together two rear sections. That rumor was debunked, wasn't it?

Wasatch Railroad Contractors did the conversion of at least one of the former turbine fuel tenders to a water car for UP. Pretty sure there was only one tender involved originally- not two halves welded together- at least if the pictures of the stripped down tender showing its original black paint and silver lettering are any indication.
