Looks like the rumor mill was right... it is painted like a BP-20. Not a 100% replica of the paint scheme, but pretty damn close and what a great nod to history by basing the scheme on something not so obvious. Sharp!

So are we going to be good this time, so they don't lock us out again?

Love this engine, btw. New favorite.

There was an article in Trains magazine and IIRC, there are 16 lines that will be commemorated.

Later!

I wonder if NS will change up the standard paint scheme at some point in the future.

Wasn't the Interstate the smallest of the NS predecessor lines? Engine would look good switching a power plant, but if you're an Interstate fan...

Class act by NS nonetheless.

I was in Altoona on Tuesday, and saw the NKP unit in the yard, but no trace of the others. I did see, but was unable to photograph, and ES4400 in a beautiful green and cream, with gold striping, Norfolk Southern unit, complete with horse design.
Anybody know what this is?
