May 19th and 2oth sees the return of Depot Days to Cheyenne with more events than ever to keep the rail enthusiast happy. The Railroad art show is bigger and better than last year with some terrific entries, the opening of Harry Brunks Union Central and Northern HOn3 model railroad is scheduled and Harry himself will be there to sign copies of his 'Up Clear Creek' books, the depot lobby will be full of model displays of all types. Anna Lee Ames will give presentations on both days at 2pm about Ames monument and the transcontinental railroad, Car 57 will be open and displaying her brand new floor, the Events center will host the Sherman Hill model railroad clubs huge model show, and the UP steam shop and roundhouse will be open (where you will be able to see 844's newly turned wheels !) all these events will be linked by free trolley rides. Various passenger carrying miniature railroads will be in operation at three of the sites as well.
