Post subject:  Essex Street Trolley Terminal, NYC

As noted before, I also try to keep up on modern rail developments, including high speed rail, new transit work, and so on. In this category is the link below, with a reference to convert an inactive underground trolley terminal into a restaurant or something. What's most notable about this is that the terminal (opened in 1903, abandoned about 1948) seems to be largely intact, if rather grimy, and that includes tracks and what looks like the trolley wires, too.
