Post subject:  Valley Railroad Trip and Steam Perfection

After today's trip to the Valley Railroad, I reason I should share some of the photos and videos that I took. I'm in the process of writing an article that some of these shots will go with. In the mean time, here's the photos.
And on an unrelated note, Clam and Bacon Pizza is way better than it sounds.

And for those of you who are interested...Pete Lerro just held a two-day photo charter at the Valley RR featuring #3025. Here's my video from the second day, featuring the southbound passenger consist...enjoy!

Excellent video. They've done a great job with that locomotive.
Too bad we don't have that rain here.

I took some of the photos from my trip and took iPhoto to them for editing, covering color correction, cropping, highlights, hue, saturation, exposure, and also sharpened the photo. The sharpening led to issues with blurry splotches, but that was rectified by dialing up the background noise filter. The subject in question? Valley Railroad center-cab 0901.

Dylan, nice shots my friend. 3025 is a nice looking Mike and looks right at home at Essex. Nice of you to give your Mom credit, too. I'm new to New England and have yet to see Clams and Bacon pizza so may have to try it!

Thanks hombre! And on the food, the only problem with clam and bacon pizza is that I've only seen it in two places; once in Old Orchard Beach and the other in Old Saybrook. So finding it in the Berkshires may prove difficult... And I couldn't get away without crediting my mother for giving me a ride. Flight is one of those simple super-human things that continues to elude me :-D
