For any participants on this forum who might have been planning to attend the CRRM Goosefest on the weekend of June 16th and 17th to see all seven Galloping Geese gathered in one place for the first time in more than a half century, be advised that Goose #3 (Knott's Berry Farm) will not be present at the event. Knott's reversed course and announced this evening that they were not coming. Outside of generalities, no reason has been given. This is certainly unfortunate news for those traveling from all over the country, and probably all over the world, to attend this unique event--especially for those who paid up front for travel and lodging or who contributed to the cost of moving #3 from California to Colorado. This is, as far as I have been able to determine, solely the decision of Knotts.
The other six Galloping Geese will still be there. if you can set your disappointment aside, please join us to witness six of the featherless avian specimens in a gaggle of tin!
