I have been reading a lot lately about emissions for "off road" equipment like generators. I was wondering if anyone has thought about new EPA standards as they relate to diesel generators in a power car. If one were putting together a power car today what do you believe the regulations are? Would it depend on the age of the generators used - in other words are you obligated to buy something to current standards or would a used generator by grandfathered? Do you believe a generator/power car that is in current used must be upgraded to meet newer emissions standards? Would there be any exemptions for limited use?
