While cleaning the garage, I found some of the late Ed Blossoms paperwork from when he briefly stayed with me. Haven't had time to go through it but, knowing what a packrat Ed was, it probably has unique info to go along with the exhibit at Steamtown. I'm thinking it should either go to them or to Berks Historical Society.

We've lost touch with all of Ed's associates, but figure they either show up here, or have friends that do. Looking for ideas / guidance.

Thanks to everyone who replied. I have about 8 contacts and will be going through them by the weekend, earlier if I get the chance. Guarantee the records will find a good home.

As an aside, I am the one who took Ed's cats back in 2002. We had a couple escapees during the trapping and relocation, but the vast majority found a home in the mini-barn out back. Some have since passed, but we fixed up the basement, and the remainder transitioned to the house in 2007.

- 20 minutes later, had a chance to pull the box and skim through the materials. Lot of empty envelopes (if you knew Ed, that made sense) and a lot of likely unique material. I removed one envelope of an entirely personal nature, but everything else is back in place. Given the latter, I suspect Ed intended to return for the box, but his health did not permit. Got some mouse poop too, but it didn't damage anything far as I can tell. His cats are obviously as lazy here as they were at the trolley barn.
