A few years ago, Whitewater Valley and HVRM leared about 3 old B&O round roof box cars that had been in a plant in southern Ohio. The company had wanted to get rid of the cars and had moved them outside to a siding on a local short line railroad. WV and HVRM had some preliminary conversations about trying to acquire the cars, but instead they ended up going to the Florida Railroad Museum. Anyone have any info and/or photos of the cars as they appear today? Have they been repainted in B&O paint? Somewhere I have photos of the cars when they were on that siding in Ohio. If I can find them, I'll try to figure out how to post them.

Les

Found a few of these photographs that I think should answer some of your questions... Not sure how they look today, but this is how they looked when they arrived... and I think in 2009, they looked the same ( although I am not sure when they were delivered ) but other photographs show the cars looking like this in 2009.
