So the Railroad Artifact Preservation Society, Inc., seems to be going great guns on the restoration of 'Madame Queen' #5000. I'm just wondering if anyone has seen, heard, or caught wind of an operating plan. I'm not asking for details or for anyone to betray any confidences, but it would be a shame if they're doing all this work without thought of any feasible way of operating her. Also, apparently they recently "cleaned out the ruble and dust in order to map the firebox interior." Now we know where all that devalued Soviet currency went at the end of the cold war... (just trying to be funny- not criticizing anyone's spelling skills) |

Dave, I believe they have started the UT testing already as of a week or two ago according to recent rrports on their FB page. Rob |
