The Pennsylvania Trolley Museum will be scrapping a pair of Curtis trucks in the near future. These were originally used on thr first (1907) order of Market St. rapid transit cars in Philadelphia. Only the truck frames are available, PTM is retaining the 5'2.5" gauge wheelsets. If your organizaation has a use for these trucks for a preservation project, contact Scott Becker at sbecker@pa-trolley.org or 724-228-9256.

A photo of the trucks is available if you send me a PM with an email address. The photo I received is too large to post. Serious inquiries only. No lawn ornament collectors.

The only car that I see in PNAERC that needs Curtis trucks is this Public Service of New Jersey body, located at Branford currently.

Not certain if the the truck is correct, or the parts usable in creating a pair of "Curtis Arch Bar Trucks"

Ours are a completely different truck, good for a heavy interurban or rapid transit car. The PS cars took a low floor archbar truck, like most steel trailers of that era.
