Post subject:  765 Video on YouTube

There is a video currently posted on YouTube of today's 765 run that is absolutely appalling. This individual stood in the gauge and then positioned himself between the track the 765 was running on and an adjacent track that had a standing coal train on it. Several people have already asked for the video to be pulled and voiced their opinions on this person's actions. I am not going to put a link to the video here but I will say the video was uploaded by "findlaypublishing."

I have also seen this video, and it's going to be people like this that get the steam program knocked out again.

And this video has already been reported to NS Police by multiple people. Hopefully action is taken against this person.

"Dumbass"......... got to love the comment from the engine crew.

And this video is posted on the channel for Findlay Publishing Company. I really hope this isn't how all their photographers act in public.

Found the video and then found the newspaper's Facebook page. I posted their own video with a request to please consider ending the employment of the cameraman. The video was pulled from YouTube within 2 minutes of that post. I have just posted a link to the Operation Lifesavers's Ohio office on their page. Hopefully that stays a little longer.

The video in question mercifully has now been pulled by the poster, Findlay Publishing Company. I also saw the video earlier in the day and was appalled. I had never seen a you-tube video with such a high proportion of dislikes relative to the number of views. Also not one like and every comment lambasted this idiot and their employer, as it should be. I also looked up this "media" company and e-mailed the newsroom and editor asking it be removed. It is nice to know that public opinion can still do something positive. There were several other video's of the ferry move posted and they were done in a responsible fashion.

Hopefully this shows to the powers to be at NS that there are far more responsible people out there than the few idiots that seem to be able to ruin many good things in life for the majority.

Will be out tomorrow responsibly photographing the 765. Thank you NS.

The company that posted it has other video's on youtube that were shot in the same way.

Steam always draws people to stand in the fowl to get a "great shot".
