Dunkirk, NY

So, found out I may have to be in Dunkirk, NY tomorrow for work. Other than the Alco-Brooks 0-6-0 on display at the fairgrounds, is there anything left of the old Brooks plant? Any ideas as to its location? Photo reconnaissance shows a large industrial complex just off of Brigham Road, south of some RR tracks. The layout of the buildings looks like it may have been built for a RR purpose. Obviously, I do not wish to trespass, but wanted to know if there was some other info.

The Chautaqua County Fairgrounds are the site of the Brooks plant, I believe an exhibit hall is an old warehouse, but not much remains of the site. Dunkirk is also where Scott Symans keeps his three traveling steam locomotives (Viscose #6 is the only one currently operating), but they are not available for public viewing.

Check out that one image of the Brooks erecting shop, and notice the two guys standing on the running boards of the locomotive hanging from the crane...

for 1890 that looks like a very modern shop.

consider the Pullman Plant near me built with wooden cross members, which was its undoing in the fire while it was under refurbishing.
