While looking for something else, I ran into this site about the American Civil War in the Northern Shenandoah Valley (which is to say in the Winchester, Va.-Harpers Ferry, W.Va. area). There are a variety of items on it, among them several rail articles. There are some contemporary illustrations that I hadn't seen before.
