 Post subject: Groundbreaking today- SE Narrow Gauge & Shortline Museum

Given the current thread on museum structures and car barns, below is attached the rendering of what we are breaking ground at 5:30pm on today...

Erected cost is $138,000 and gives us 300 feet of covered dual gauge track and another 150 feet of uncovered. Had the board wished, we could have had a single slope roof on the smaller portion of the barn and cost would have been $110k, but some thought the price for the aesthetics was worth it. We still have to add about $10k for bricking the columns and fencing, as well as concrete sidewalks.
