American Heritage Railways has decided to cancel its operating agreement with the bi-state commission that owns the Cumbres & Toltec RR per this article in the Rio Grande Sun:

This has been discussed quite thoroghly on some other boards, but this article provides some response from the state perspective.

Yeah, it was on Trains Newswire Tuesday. I was waiting for someone to bring it up here. the description is not surprising, but details would make for good reading.
