From Deep in the Heart of Texas, Skip Waters will be hosting the Let's Talk Trains Show on Saturday. Skip's show will air at 4:00 PM Central. PLEASE NOTE THE TIME CHANGE. This time change is being done so that there will be a live show on September 8th.

Today's show will feature Tim Blackwell, publisher of Cowcather Magazine, The Model Rail & Rail Enthusiast News source from Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Kansas and Missouri. And in our second hour, Bob LaPrelle, President and CEO of the Museum of the American Railroad. Learn how he is moving one of the nations largest railroad musems from Dallas to Frisco, Texas. Over 40 pieces have to be moved including a 4-8-4 northern and a 4-8-8-4 Union Pacific "Big Boy". Join us.... it's going to be a great show!

And a great show it was Skip! I was a bit suprised that I wasn't lined up, as me and Nathan were finishing up the details so I could run host. But hey, that's the wonder of the rescheduling concept! Besides, talking about some of the events going on up here in New England does get superceeded by moving a UP 4000 class, let alone moving an entire museum with a sizable collection of mainline engines!

Did #4018 get moved to Frisco yet?

If not does anyone know the schedule of the move?

I'd like to take my little boy to see it.

No, it hasn't moved yet...and there is no posted schedule of when it will move. Your best bet is to join their Facebook page and watch them post it there. It's the Museum of the American Railroad.

Good Luck,
