The diesel pictured appears to be a GE 25-tonner switcher. Anyone have any idea where one obtains a 36-inch gauge GE 25-tonner on short notice? Are the Kovalchiks missing any of their Beth Steel locos (the paint looks familiar to this EBT visitor, mind you.....)? Cape Cod RR grade-crossing accident story lner4472@bcpl.net |

Arkansas Lime. Actually, the diesel purchase wasn't really short notice--they planned the acquisition over this past winter, not suddenly in respose to recent events (though D&S has named the engine "Hot Shot 1" to emphasize its fire-fighting duties). eledbetter@rypn.org |
