Post subject:  SP Roundhouse Paint question

I would like to determine the exterior colors as built of the current Brooklyn (Portland) Roundhouse. The building is constructed of corrigated panels over a timber frame. It's construction is circa 1940's. The materials I've come across call for "other than brick Roundhouses" to be painted red with black doors and windows. The Brooklyn Roundhouse doesn't show any evidence of this scheme. The windows and doors appear to always have been red. The big question is the siding. Was the siding left natural, or was it painted red and the paint soaked into the siding without leaving a trace? The caulking between some siding panels shows red paint.

Thank you for any info on this subject.
