Post subject:  Transition-Era Films--From Electricity to Diesels

Most of the time, we talk about a "transition era" in the context of steam to diesel conversions. In this case, though, I ran into some films on the transition from trolleys to buses. Now, I wish we had the trolleys back, and think the GM film that opens this set says some things and ignores others, but you still have a look at Philadelphia in the 1950s, and that makes it worthwhile here:
