Did Baldwins have reversers ala EMD/GE? If they do and anybody could post a picture-be appreciative. Thanks. |

Are we talking reverse levers, as pictured on the control stand (page 202) or the reverser in the electrical cabinet? BLWs were known for not having transition, only field shunting, but had reversers for reconnecting the motor fields, just like any other diesel-electric. If you are doing a operating restoration, you could adapt something out of an Alco-GE, GE, or EMD, unless you wanted it to be museum quality with the original Westinghouse equipment. |
