Conrail 80046 is a scale test car built by predecessor Reading Company in 1900, and is reported still in service today at the ripe old age of 112. The photo, courtesy of the Facebook site Altoona Works, dates from 2008.

I thought that all of these cars had been replaced by the much larger 4 axle cars by now, unless this one is just used to test scales within the Altoona complex itself. The larger cars can travel at track speed while these stubbies have speed restrictions.
