October 26, 2012 Stopped in on JCL 113 today. As one can see she's moved to a new position at Minersville station under her own steam!!!

Way to go 113 restorer's!

She's short and stubby and only good for low-speed work; she's not a graceful 4-8-4--but I like her, too. . .

Tanks everyone. Glad you like our little toy. Lots of hard work, sweat and some blood. We are working on the track. She moved twice own her own fired with wood. Still needs some appliance work.

Other than posts on this forum, this group has flown "under the radar." I did notice that this project received some coverage in the "Classics Today" section of the winter issue of Classic Trains which is just out.

Project 113 has been covered in a number of extensive articles including one on this forum which has been "lost" for some reason. Other articles include the local newspaper, The Republican & Herald, November 2010 Trains, P. 80, February 2009, Railfan & Railroad-"Lineside Legacy" by Jeff Terry, several pages long and very detailed and accurate (he worked very closely with us), October 2010 Railfan & Railroad, P. 24, and Railpace Magazine had several short blurbs and photos.

Thanx Ed for posting the photos. In one of them you can see some of the ties which we are installing to make the siding usable once again. This last Sunday was one of three days where we did the installation. There is a little more work to be done. My 67 year old body is sore from doing a large percentage of the spiking.
