Post subject:  Fatal Derailment on Brazilian Tourist Railway

Three people were killed on an accident on the electrified metre-gauge Estrada de Ferro Campos do Jordão, a local tourist-oriented passenger operation owned by the state of Sao Paulo, with grades of up to 11%.
I cannot determine an alleged or probable cause through the various translation pages, but I've see at least one "runaway" allegation. Look through the photos, and you'll see a steeply-graded narrow-gauge line, totally unlike the streamlined appearance of the front of the derailed tram. The interior of the car shows seats ripped loose from the floor, with apparent little or no fastening.
