An arch-bar truck was recently dug out of the ground on Governors Island, the former military installation in New York Harbor that is now a New York City park. The Trust for Governors Island which manages the park for the City appears to be mostly clueless, but at least they recognize it as railroad-related and have asked for help from railfans.
