Although we're not as cool as Kelly and don't have a fancy picture to post, we can certainly take care of any needed flange work as well. |

Two words: Dennis Daugherty. No sense anybody else trying to compete. I'll get a bit more vitals together after it's cut loose in the next 2-3 weeks, and get it out to any interested parties for an estimate. dave |

Why do I feel like this is an into to a "The Most Interesting Man in the World" commercial... "I can flange iron, but and when done, I don't always drink beer, but when I do, I drink Youtling..." (a nod to Strasburg... here in the west it is likely Lagunitas... I prefer the IPA...) Your amused moderator... Randy |

Well partially because it is. I'm having fun watching it... sipping on a Lagunitas Pils no less. |

Here we are, well into the 21st Century, the Concorde SSTs are museum pieces, all remaining Space Shuttles have been retired and put on display, but we still have artisans who can step forward to help restore a steam locomotive. Steam on! |

I believe Dave would prefer a good stout with his flanging, so that may play into the order. : ) |

Boilermakers need a less watery drink than pale stuff....... Lately my favorite has ben the Highland Oatmeal Porter. NC breweries rock! This is for the O&S boiler that is going to be the basis for the Dewey Brothers replica.....hence the small size. Link Boiler doesn't have flanging capabilities. Once it's cut out and I can get some decent photos and spex, I'll send every one of you who replied an update for an estimate. We'll send the old bit of rust along for comparison..... dave |

I think you can see the problem......those are 3" tubes for size estimation. dave
