Good news for the Delta Queen... She's not going to New Smyrna Beach! Here's a link to the story:

If you're in Chattanooga, you can stay aboard the DQ. She's a great boat and well worth seeing. She's docked on the north side of the river.

Several times the S&D or the ASA have talked about forming a preservation group for her. This is probably their best chance for actually doing it. The odds of getting her exemption are good now. All they need is a few million dollars...(gulp)

Steam locomotive, expensive. Steamboat, REALLY expensive!

I am happy to hear this.

What I do find incredible is that I saw nothing about this on the local news, I had to read about it on RYPN :-)
