Today after two and a half years downtown Car 57 returned to her home base for the winter. This was due to rising insurance costs and liability issues. I would rather spend the insurance money on restoration than in a dead parking lot in the winter. All went well and the trailer runs beautifully, i thought about using it as the worlds classiest RV. She met the caboose 2516 for the first time.....or maybe not, they could have met in and around Cheyenne until 1947.
