Mike.....are you out there? I have not seen in my personal box or on RYPN your excellent annual hand painted, (drawn) Christmas Card. It is as traditional as.....Santa, the elves, cookies and milk.....come on buddy, what gives? Merry Christmas to all and hoping that all is well with Mike R! P.S. I would love to see anybodies Christmas card for this year.....I know we have seen a few. Are there more? Cheers, |

It was a Lackawanna dinner menu cover in 1954. |

Here's two cards from the Whippany Railway Museum in NJ... one from 2010, the other from this year.

I do a hand-drawn (and photoshop colored) Christmas card every year that is e-mailed out. The b/w version is printed and mailed to family every year. Been doing it for about 20 years now. But only the first two were RR themed back in the 90s. They all have a dachshund motif as my wife and I have a weiner dog. I'll be releasing the color version by the weekend, would anyone want to see it posted here? |

Lee - The wife and I have a Black Lab named Casey (guess where the idea for HER name came from?), but my son and his family have not one, not two, but THREE dachshund's. So yes, I'd like to see the card. Les |

Mike Ramsey's card arrived this afternoon by email. He's a very busy fellow these days, running about the country for the FRA, which probably explains its tardiness. Sorry, it came as a PDF file, and I haven't a clue as to how to attach that item here. Mike |

So yes, I'd like to see the card. This year, my wife and I went on a cross-country sightseeing road trip and left Charlie at home. He was probably much happier with my wife’s family but we’ve joked about how he felt about being left behind for almost a month. This is what I made of that, I hope you like it. Our pup Charlie is black-and-tan, but that’s really hard to render so I usually do a ‘red’ dachshund instead. The printed ones go out only to immediate family and close friends (usually no more than about 30 or so each year), but I usually do a digital version online. This year I really got ambitious with the original artwork for the digital version. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all!
