Doubleheading is planned tomorrow with CP 2317 and CN 3254 on the runs to Moscow and back, departing at 11AM and 2PM. I don't know if this is the plan for the 2PM run on Sunday as well. (Only 1 run on Sundays).

Didn't happen. Still has yet to be road tested. It was out and about though, putting on a great show and making plenty of noise. It did couple up to CN 3254 Sunday and did doubleheaded runbys up and down the main in Scranton, albeit without train but it sure sounded great and got people trackside.

Does this mean the 3254 and 2317 are both set for at least maybe a 2 or 3 years (when maybe the 3713 is operational) without a scheduled major shopping? Once the #26 hits the rails next year and Bill Frederickson is done with 1361 and back working on the 3713, maybe SNHS will finally be out of their 'dark days' steam wise. BTW, when will the 514 be back running?

I think a big part of the change in Scranton is the fact that Kip Hagen is now the superintendant (as opposed to "acting"). There appears to be a plan and a vision that wasn't there before.
