Guys, I can get all kinds of shots of the stripped cab as she stands today, but one thing I don't have and need-

Does anybody have a good shot of the 470's backhead from before it was so badly vandalized and stripped? Even if it has minor damage, that would be okay. Some of you visited the locomotive "back in the day", I know. It can be a slide or print, or negative.

Please post here or PM me.

Dick -

The fact that you need a photo of the cab interior of MEC 4-6-2 #470 I am taking as a hopeful sign. And I will let it go at that. Hope you are successful in finding one.

Les- All it means at the moment is, I need a photo of 470's backhead before it was trashed. Certainly gathering a body of information for a potential need is prudent.
Any pictures of the backhead of this particular locomotive will be a significant contribution to serious efforts to move forward when that occasion presents itself.

Yes, I know of that particular picture, but I am looking for something with better definition. Pat, I do appreciate the suggestion.
