In his most recent column in TRAINS, Don Phillips talks about the "Pullman Palace Car" group that is working to run a very plush LA -> Vegas train for high rollers. He notices company research shows that 7% of the riders would be railfans. He wonders why and how they would afford it. I think he doesn't realize the power for the train would be UP 4014. (ducks and runs....) |
