I was looking for the current status of EX PRR 8422 which I last had listed in Texas and stumbled across the following information pointing to Doyle McCormick DLMX 820 Big John - 800027 (ex-PRR 8422 George Brooke Roberts) LW 2 DR - 1 Comp - 1 DBR - buffet lounge observation. Does anyone know if this is old or current information, I thought the car had a fire while in Texas and lost track of location some time ago. Thanks |

That car belongs to John (I might have the name spelled wrong) Radovitch, he has been working on it for some time now. When I had the 8427, WWA, I asked him if my ex and I could come see the car and he was real nice and said "Let me know when you are in Dallas again and we will see what we can do" I sold 8427 a year later and have never needed to do it. But I understand the car is nice and has been used in the past few years. Another one of those cars is in AZ, not sure of the number or name but it has been modified with disc brake trucks, a funny rear lower tail, and it has a non-PRR name on it. Some place I have a list of these cars and the current location of them. I will see if I can dig it up if anyone wants it. Jeff- |
