Would anybody happen to know the weight of the Alco/AAR Type B trucks (not the switcher ones, the "RS3" truck for example) without wheels/combos? Thanks, Paul |

The RS3 Manual states that the weight of the truck assembley is 42,200 lbs and traction motors are a little over 7000 lbs with pinion. Wheelsets should be around 2500 lbs, so subtracting two each gives an approximate weight of 23,200 lbs. Wheelsets may be a little less. |
