Some nice photos of B&O Museum's 0-4-0T No. 4, recently returned to operation. This was the last Porter 0-4-0T built. It served into the 1960s at St. Elizabeths Hospital in Washington, DC. Scroll down the thumbnails for several views.

Bob:

For the record, number 4 was the LAST steam locomotive that Porter built; not just the last 0-4-0T built.

Post subject:  Yes...........

.... The cars, if I recall correctly, were built atop some surplus Department of Defense flat cars the B&O Museum acquired. I believe they were first built/put into service for the first Thomas event at the Museum many years ago (with a gas/diesel Thomas).
