Pretty good interview. Interesting comparison between the Fred Harvey "Indian life" simulations and what Walt Disney did, especially in the early Disneyland years. I still miss the little signs by where the hippo pops out of the water that said "Photo Opportunity Here" (sponsored by Kodak).

James Porterfield has an interesting column in the most recent issue of Railfan magazine about museums incorporating the relationship between railroads and food. Certainly the Fred Harvey story can attract people beyond those just interested in a train ride.
