I'm seeking the construction number of Saratoga & Schuylerville No. 7, a 2-6-0, former Boston & Maine No. 1489, Class B-15a, ALCo-Manchester 1910 (19"x26" cyl., 63" dr.).

Can anybody help? Thanks!

Hi K.R.,

According to the S&S roster that I have (from Allen Stanley's GREAT database), Engine 7 was Alco/Manchester builder's number 47633, built in 6/1910. It was bought by the S&S in 2/1946, and scrapped soon after they bought their first diesel in 10/1946.
