Just wanted to share with all of you a few pictures from this past weekend. So many of you came and mentioned that you watch us on this Forum. Thank you. Thank you for mentioning that you watch our videos, thank you for mentioning that you watch our posts and thank you for coming to our Open House! We had guests from all over the USA! In all, I would venture that almost 1000 people toured our facility during our three day event.

A special thanks to the attendees of the AAPRCO Cheyenne Cowboy Limited Special Train that not only brought their great cars to Cheyenne, but who also toured our shop, enjoyed lunch with us and also allowed us to tour their cars. What a great treat that was.

Finally, a special thanks to the Sherman Hill Model Railroad club, the Cheyenne Depot Museum folks, the City of Cheyenne and mostly, all of the great volunteers that have helped us and the other organizations pull off such a great event. If you gave never been to the Cheyenne railroad weekend in May; Don't miss it next year!

Great photos, those Cagneys look sweet! I especially like the slightly fancier paint job on the original, very nicely done.

I've had the pleasure of running a Cagney many years ago, and while they're not exactly to perfect scale, they're a real joy to run and fire. Those nice big valves make things easy and pleasant.

I've also run a 7-1/2 gauge loco with scale sized (or near scale size) valves, and it's a real challenge at times. With gloves, they can be hard to grip, and without them, you end up with singed fingertips.

One thing I'd never noticed before is how much the Cagney steam dome shroud resembles an old fashioned milk can!

John- I'd like to thank you for inviting the participants in the AAPRCO Cowboy Limited to visit your shop. Seeing your new Cagney in operation was a real treat...it's a beautiful little engine and sounds very nice. Love to hear her on a grade with a few cars to see what she really sounds like! Oh, and thanks to you and your crew for the BBQ. I know where some of the next generation of steam professionals is coming from! Was good to see you at our open house too.
