Hi All,

I just stumbled on this video of the engines used in the movie "The Fugitive".

Are there more train movie remains around?

Ted.

There's a steam locomotive and two coaches at the bottom of a ravine near Shelton, WA, still there after being dropped into the ravine while making the movie, "Ring of Fire" in the '60s: http://www.brian894x4.com/RingofFire.html
I live pretty close to that area, I really need to get out there someday to take a peek...

The non-operational "prop" engines for The Lone Ranger (2013 version with Johnny Depp) are presently stored in Fillmore CA, but they don't really fit into the category of "abandoned".

And neither are these "abandoned".... they're owned by and along the Great Smokey Mountains Railroad, just outside of Bryson City. They're there as an attraction for their passengers, which was right around the time they opened up that The Fugitive was in theaters.
