Railroad Museum of New England's operating subsidiary Naugatuck Railroad Company will be getting some track upgrades soon:

NAUG's share will be used for tie replacement (many thousands), surfacing and regulating, ditch and culvert work, installation of some State surplus 131# jointed rail, and one crossing rebuild (not the signals, though). The work will take place over the next 3-18 months.

The improvements are part of rail freight upgrades, and will also benefit RMNE/NAUG's heritage passenger railway operation.
