Does the IRM ex WSMTD/RTA/BN E9AM that contributed guts to WSOR's B unit still exist?

Kudos on the nice paint job. The couples that got married in it before can now come back on their anniversary for a good barbecue meal.

Wow, I thought it was going to be inside. Nice paint job!
Look at the pilot, it's out in the open right where people can drive past and drive right into it. I hope they put some barriers to it up eventually because people will be driving into it, I can assure you of that!

Which is the closest RR Museum? They should try to make it into a teaching tool with at least a couple little simple signs that say what it is and was. Cut some sort of deal with the owner about free rides, sign maintenance, etc. This is too good an opportunity to pass up. Couldn't be more "out there".

Glad it wasn't scrapped, but come on, they should've given that thing fresh Tuscan red, none of that good ol boy paint! ;)

(Just my 2 cents)

I agree. Putting Southern Railway Green Paint on a Pennsy E unit is like putting lipstick on a pig.

(just my 2 cents from the heart of Southern Railway country)

Maybe someone got tired of seeing a Tuscan locomotive in Alabama?

Don't forget, this is in the same town where SRR's steam shops were back when the steam program was still going...
