Do you have a link to a website with more info on the organization and operation? This one has kind of flown under the radar, at least for me.

Is this the same car that was running along False Creek in Vancouver years ago? Has that operation gone away completely?

The Fraser Valley Heritage Railway Society is located in the City of Surrey (part of Greater Vancouver). It is totally separate from the False Creek operation which is shut down.

What a fine experience! (even if it's on video) A classic interurban car back on home rails!

Congrats on the upcoming startup and the incredible work that you've done on the restoration of the 1225 and the building of the carbarn and Cloverdale station. Judging by what appear to be freshly planted poles, I assume that you'll string overhead in the near future?

Unfortunately, we will not be able to string wire. The tracks are used by a short haul freight line (SRYRAILLINK) who move double containers. The height would be almost 24 ft. Also the grand child of the BC electric, BC Hydro, who own the ROW doesn't want wire up, either. We hope in the future to be able to have a demonstation "wire-up" on the abandoned portion of the track. the part where we pull out of Cloverdale Station. BTW, the replica Cloverdale Station is located on a few inches from original location, placed there in 1910.

File comment: Notice original Cloverdale Stn between the poles marked by an "s". Picture is about 1911

Too bad Bill Watson isn't still around to see this. I know he worked behind the scenes for many years to make this a reality.

Very True. He is missed.
