Hi Guys; Would be nice if the Leviathan could make a side trip to the Catskill Mountain Railroad, since she is in the area. This would be the sort of boost they need for ridership and PR to keep the trail people at bay. The Leviathan would be perfect eye candy for the media, and would bring in people to ride the CMRR, who had never been before. Hell, I would even fly over this year to see her run on the Catskill. Something pro-active to think about CMRR people? Just a suggestion, folks. Have fun - David Notarius, London UK, ex New Hope PA |

Got a blank Check to hand them to pay for its visit?... it doesn't come free... and they have much higher priorities right now for their limited funding. |

It's not a bad idea - assuming the Leviathan has no pressing engagements, the engine WILL be in the area greatly reducing transportation costs (shared or not). Worth the thought by either party to investigate. Then... bring 'er down to New Freedom! Love to see a 4-4-0 double header! /Mitch |
