Hi, all: Would anybody have an exploded view, or sectional, drawing of the Racor #17B switchstand? Our guys are attempting to free up the mechanism on three of these, and would like to see exactly how it's assembled so they don't break anything. Voestalpine Nortrak owns the line now but they don't list the 17B any more. Their e-mail link isn't working on the web site... if nobody can assist I'll try contacting them by phone next week. Thanks, guys! Steve Hunter |

If you can find a patent number on the casting, do an internet search on that number. Many patents include a drawing of the device. We used this trick a couple years ago on another switchstand and found the correct drawing on a site named free patents online or some similar name. Hope this helps Nick |

Hi, all: This patent appears to answer the questions our guys had: http://www.google.com/patents/US1964721?printsec=drawing#v=onepage&q&f=false It took a lot of wading through patent listings, but this is the same type of mechanism. The "star block" geometry is slightly different, but that's not important. Thanks for the help! Steve |
