I have 2 GP-9s in sore need of replacement of the running boards. I have been unable to locate a source for the orginial 1/4 thick dimpled ( I assume that's the correct name for it) plate.

I am am about ready to throw in the towel but I thought I'd ask to see if any body else had recently located any.

We had some holed-through deck plates on a GP9; we simply used diamond tread. The EMD original dimpled plates could be duplicated using a press (hydraulic) with a suitable die and some hand work. I suspect these were made on a special fabricating press at EMD, long since scrapped.
