It's interesting what turns up as links or associated videos on YouTube. This history of Edinburgh tram system came with the end of London tram video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eALRxMGYOq4 It's interesting how the history of this system, and undoubtedly others, parallels what we had here. This includes past operation of horse cars and cable cars, eventual consolidation of companies, and ultimate abandonment. |
