Old coach, said to be former Colorado & Southern narrow gauge No. 56, recently sold at the Sundown & Southern auction in Colorado. Lots of work ahead! http://groups.yahoo.com/group/DSP-P/files/Coach56/ ryarger@rypn.org |

Bob. the link says you have to be a member of Yahoo's DSP&P e-group to see the pic. Sure this wasn't the photo reprinted in the one newspaper article linked to earlier? A true disaster or money sucker, that one was! |

It is relatively quick and easy to join the Yahoo groups and is free. You can receive individual e-mails, a digest form or none at all, looking in only when you feel like it. > Bob. the link says you have to be a member > of Yahoo's DSP&P e-group to see the pic. > Sure this wasn't the photo reprinted in the > one newspaper article linked to earlier? > and who (whom) purchased it? From a post over on the narrow gauge discussion board: "As for C&S coach 56, it was purchased for $750 by an unknown party, most likely because he thinks he can make money by selling the door fittings and other parts separatley. An attempt was made to purchase the car intact (or as intact as it is anyway) and move it to the Como roundhouse, but the price quickly went over the budget for that endevor." So there's an answer.
