I was on the TVRM 630 page today and saw the link to the Cheat Mountain Salamander - logging truck wreck.

News like this (though I missed it at the time) tends to make this RR preservationist "pucker". I remember the Dismal Swamp, and Gettysburg accidents and the chilling effects to steam both had. Now granted this was the fault of the logging truck operator, but risk is risk. Anyone here know if the train has gotten back in operation?

Given that this is month old news, I hope this hasn’t been discussed – if so my bad.
