I'm a bit surprised that Porter would have built a slide-valved 2-8-0 of this design as late as 1946, even for export to Brazil. But of course, if that's what the customer requested, then I guess it would have been possible.

Les,

The builders number is 7999. They have a second Porter loco with builders number 8146 of 1948. The description would imply it is the same model. Condition is unknown.

Both are at the Tubarao Museum of the EFDTC but neither worked there.
