Allied Full Cushion high speed truck weight

Hi all,

I've been trying to find how much one of these trucks weighs. Anybody out there happen to know?

9600 lbs. each truck, complete with wheels.

Moving a troop sleeper?

One of the NH troop sleeper express cars at RMNR recently was refitted with a pair of these Allied trucks, which arrived in 2013 from the far-off and exotic City of Owosso, Mich. Replacing a set of old non-standard-to-the-car NH trucks, the "new" Allieds allowed the car to sit level for the first time in decades.

I wondered how you knew the weight so fast. Figured you had it in your hip pocket! :)

I guessed at the body weight.

If you know anyone who has a set to sell, I've been looking for some for my Western Maryland car for several years.
